We used the sunbeds which belonged to BS cafe which were free and were made really welcome when we arrived in a morning, they served lovely lamb wraps there. There is a lovely canal at the end of the street lined with Bougainvillea which leads down to the beach. We were at the back of the hotel room 112 which turned out to be a blessing, although not a very good outlook it was quieter than if we had had front rooms as the Irish bar did not stop the music until after 1.00am even though they had only just reopened after being closed down for 10 days for not stopping the music at 12.00. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the man on reception. On the second day we returned to find a vase of silk roses on the dressing table from the cleaner wishing us a happy holiday (a nice thoughtful touch). Not cheap but worth every penny! More Show less Best food was at The Liberty, on the jetty out onto the sea. The vent in the shower/wc is opposite the vent in the shower/wc next door, you can see in if you want to, and can hear every word and movement. If you have a noisy corridor it can leave you tired the next day. Had to ask girls to quiten down at 3am on level 1, just two flights up from reception, the hotel dont seem bothered with the goings on all night. The doors and walls are paper thin so if the younger members of the hotel get in at 2,3 or 4am your sleep is ruined. However air con for two rooms and a safety deposit box came to £121.50 for 10 nights - that's a lot of food and drink or 22 fake handbags at the market! The real issue is noise.at home i sleep lite and can hear a pin drop in the street. Very clean rooms and hotel and a clean pool and good maid service. Hotel only ten minutes walk from the beach and surrounded by bars and restaurants.
